Who’s carrying the burden? Nurses, of course.
We can’t continue to live in a society where caretakers sacrifice themselves for system inequality and negligence.
It’s time for nurses to discover the power emerging within us, join together in community, and manifest the caretaking and healing for ourselves and the world that we all deserve.\n\n[/cs_content_seo][/cs_element_layout_column][/cs_element_layout_row][/cs_element_section][cs_element_section _id=”13″ ][cs_element_layout_row _id=”14″ ][cs_element_layout_column _id=”15″ ][cs_element_text _id=”16″ ][cs_content_seo]Nurses Guild\n\n[/cs_content_seo][cs_element_text _id=”17″ ][cs_content_seo]NURSES GUILD is the place where caregivers recharge and reconnect with the core reason they entered the profession: to truly heal.
Led by Dr. Mary Rockwood Lane (founder of the renowned Arts in Medicine program, Faculty Associate of Watson Caring Science Institute and licensed RN), the NURSES GUILD offers online interactive forums and transformative artistic experiences to heal the burnout that nurses suffer from practicing in an limiting, disempowering healthcare system.
Everyone knows the value of getting a “good nurse” when in time of need, yet good nurses need help to stay strong to bring forth their innate care-giving spirits.
With over 3 million nurses in the U.S. alone, think about how many lives would be touched and even saved — especially those of our frontline caregivers — if we took better care of them.
That’s what the NURSES GUILD does via artistic exploration and connection to purpose with like-minded RNs and caregivers. Honoring the feminine, the NURSES GUILD is on a mission to bring the care back into caregiving at a time when we need it most.
If you’re a nurse or know someone that is, please share!
