Explore the Artist in You

Endorsed by Watson Caring Science Institute, this course is an opportunity for self-discovery by tapping into your creativity as a way of healing yourself and others. There is no art experience necessary, we will help you find the artist in you. During these 9 weeks, we will unlock the inner resources that are already deep within you.

This is a sacred space to thrive and explore expressions of creativity in a small supportive community of other Nurses. The foundation of this course is based on Mary’s personal experiences, her book Healing with the Arts, co-authored by Michael Samuels, MD, and the work of Dr. Jean Watson and her book, Postmodern Nursing & Beyond.

This course is a powerful way to help cope with the stresses of your work, your life, and create a deeper emotional connection to your patients, self and others.

The course will include:

• Live Events with Nurse Artist Mary Rockwood Lane
• Dates for Live Sessions: 9/25, 10/3, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/7, 11/27, 12/5
• Group and private coaching
• Participants will have the opportunity to work in small groups
• All Zoom sessions will be recorded for anytime access
• All students will have access to Healing with the Arts Modules
• Nurses will have the opportunity to submit their art to the Nurses Guild Artist Gallery
